Treatments
- Functional Foot Orthotics can improve foot biomechanics, often with the inclusion of a slight heel elevation to accommodate the natural heel/sole differential associated with this foot type. The use of specifically placed shock absorbent materials may be beneficial.
- Total Contact Insoles to redistribute the pressures underneath the foot may also be appropriate.
- Stock Orthotic Footwear or Made to Measure Footwear may be required to accommodate the more severe presentations
