Features

  • Variable thickness of the AFO to provides controlled flexibility of the footplate and calf whilst giving increased strength around the ankle.
  • Low profile and lightweight design
  • Choice of tamarack or low-profile pivot joint
  • Choice of lining colour and debossed image available

Indications

  • Mild to moderate spasticity causing foot drop with some dorsiflexion range due to conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) etc
  • Severe over pronation/supination
  • Severe ankle instabilities
  • Tip toe walking
  • Flaccid foot drop when additional coronal plane stability is required

  • Severe spasticity
  • High risk skin/vascular condition
  • Tissue viability
  • Swelling/oedema
