Please note: The Additive Conventional must be used in conjunction with the Additive Socket within the shoe. We are able to complete shoe adaptations or can send a socket with the Conventional Orthosis. Indications

Dorsiflexor muscle weakness and common peroneal nerve dysfunction when the following are present:

  • Fragile skin
  • Reduced low limb sensation
  • Fluctuating oedema
  • Unable to accommodate AFO within footwear

Contraindications

  • Severe coronal plane instabilities
  • Fixed deformity of the foot and ankle
  • Spasticity
