Traumatic Injury (injury caused by a sudden, external violent force), over use or repetitive strain resulting in stress fracture

Symptoms

Acute (sudden onset) pain, swelling and inflammation of the affected area.

Treatments

Walker boot to off load the area until the fracture site settles down

• Custom made foot orthotics to normalise the forces around the foot.
