Thermoplastic FFO

What is it?

A shell made from thermoplastic which extends from the lower portion of the back of the heel to just behind the ball of the foot. It has a shallow profile (shaping) and may or may not be lined. It has additions to the base called postings which influence its function  (how it works).

What does it do?

It applies forces to the foot to control its position and improve function (how the foot works) when walking.
