What is Total Contact Insoles (TCI)?

An insole, usually manufactured from closed cell rubber material, which provides intimate contact with the whole of the under surface of the foot. It can be lined in leather or a suitable cushioned material and can have softer areas included within it to protect high risk areas of the foot.

Can also be manufactured from silicone which can incorporate different densities to increase the effectiveness of pressure reduction in required areas.

What does it do?

By virtue of its intimate contact with the foot and its areas of varying density, it provides forces to both control the foot position and also re-distribute pressures underneath the foot.
