What is it?

A thermoplastic shell which encompasses the posterior (back) half of the calf and extends from the upper calf to the underside of the foot. The footplate has specific adjustments designed to reduce increased muscle tone (activity). The calf and heel sections are secured with velcro fastening. Padding is included for the protection of bony areas.

What does it do?

In addition to providing controlling forces to stabilise the foot and ankle complex, the adjustments to the footplate are designed to reduce increased muscle tone (activity) for certain conditions.
