What is it?

A thermoplastic shell with or without a suitable lining, an apperture for the thumb and an opening positioned along the back of the wrist/forearm. There is a soft tonge which prevents the brace pinching at the opening. The WHO is secured with velcro strapping. Certain designs may include an extension to base of the middle joint of the thumb.


What does it do?

Provides controlling forces to support and immobilise the wrist / base of the thumb (dependent on the design).
