Crispin

What is it?

Two thermoplastic strips , one positioned on each side of the ankle. The strips have shaping for the ankle bones and extend from approximately the lower 1/3 of the tibia (shin bone) to the base of the heel. The strips have an air/gel filled cell padding and are connected via a fabric strip which passes under the heel. The strips are secured by 2 encircling velcro straps.

What does it do?

It applies controlling forces to restrict sideways movement of the ankle joint.
