Crispin

What is it?

A thermoplastic shell which encompasses the posterior (back) half of the calf and extends from the upper calf to underneath the foot. The leg and foot sections are connected by joints at the ankle. The precise type of joint will vary dependent upon the condition being treated. The calf and instep sections are secured by velcro straps and padding is included for bony areas.

What does it do?

The shell provides forces to control the foot and ankle complex. The joints will allow for specific amounts of movement at the ankle dependent on the condition being treated.
