Crispin

What is it?

Comprises a thigh shell and ankle/foot shell made of carbon fibre with suitable lining as required. Jointed side members of varying materials and locking mechanisms dependent on the condition being treated. Ankle joints may also be included. The KAFO is secured with velcro strapping.

What does it do?

Provides controlling forces to the lower limb to maintain a neutral position of the knee and foot and ankle complex in walking. The use of carbon fibre provides high strength and very low weight in comparison to more conventional Orthoses.
