Treadmill
Our multi-functional treadmill is fitted with variable speeds and incline. Invaluable in gait analysis, it is also used to test orthoses in dynamic situations (eg. foot orthoses for runners).
Parologg foot pressure system
This system measures the pressure distribution pattern under the feet. It uses sets of different sized insoles fitted with pressure sensors which are wirelessly linked to a software programme. This programme then provides visual interpretation and readouts which allow the clinician to create bespoke foot orthoses.
CAD/CAM system
Compact, accurate and consistent, the CAD/CAM is cutting edge technology. It combines 3D scanner technology with a milling machine to scan a negative phenolic foam impression onto a computer with modelling software. Our technicians can then create a precise orthosis design which is transferred to the milling machine to produce the model.
Dartfish video gait analysis system
Used in conjunction with our treadmill, Dartfish technology allows us to capture precise images with variable speed playback. It has revolutionised gait analysis, providing additional joint angle displays and quantifiable data.
