Parologg Gait Analysis

This innovative measuring system combines in-shoe pressure measurement with movement analysis. Using this system allows our clinicians to record the pressures underneath the feet when standing, walking or running as well as the movement of the foot in space. The data that the system presents allows for the creation of the most appropriate Orthotic prescription to meet the requirements of our patients.

Dartfish Analysis

Utilising high definition digital photography and Dartfish analysis software we can accurately determine joint positioning during walking and running using strategically positioned reflective markers. We can also demonstrate the benefits of the orthosis by comparing both before and after imagery on the same screen.

The Benefits of Silicone within Orthotics

Silicone is recognised within the healthcare industry as a material with exceptional biocompatibility. By harnessing the qualities of this material, we can offer bespoke orthoses with increased comfort over traditional methods including ease of cleaning and durability.

Developing Carbon Fibre within Orthotics

Carbon fibre is a material with exceptional qualities which has been used in high profile industries such as space shuttle manufacture and formula one for years. Until now, it has been rarely used in orthotics. At Crispin Orthotics we have developed a carbon fibre manufacturing process that is both high quality and cost-effective, therefore we are able to take advantage of the strong, lightweight, energy storing and flexible characteristics of carbon fibre in the design and manufacture of orthoses.
