What is it?
Traumatic Injury (injury caused by a sudden, external violent force), over use or repetitive strain resulting in stress fracture
Symptoms
Acute (sudden onset) pain, swelling and inflammation of the affected area.
Treatment
• Walker boot to off load the area until the fracture site settles down
• Custom made foot orthotics to normalise the forces around the foot.
